Our Services

Quality Print & Framing

We work closely with skilled joiners and framers who make our canvases and pictures frames. All canvases are handmade in our workshop to the highest standard. The canvas we use is heavy duty 9.5 oz. Each canvas is primed with several coats of gesso to ensure the paint does not sink into the twill.

We also work closely with the Framed Picture Company based in Malton who print, frame and package our limited edition prints. A member of the Fine Art Trade Guild since 2006 they offer exceptional quality and service.

Sourced Art - Collectors Corner

At Thackeray & Browne Gallery we have a keen eye for quality and originality when choosing and collecting artworks for our customers. Our expertise and knowledge lies in experience gained as art lecturers, art dealers and art historians. The work is sourced from private collections or from auctions.

Our expertise covers 18th, 19th and 20th century watercolours, original prints and oil paintings.

Custom Made Paintings &Artworks
