About: Kane Cunningham

In 2009 Kane bought a house on the edge of a cliff and called it the House Project. It was an environmental project that explored some of the big issues in society. This work was painted from the house lover looking Cayton Bay. Kane said, ‘I bought the house destined to fall off the cliff to create an art project that explored environmental issues. I also used it as a studio to paint the views over a period of three years’. This painting is a view of the sunrise and remains one of the few paintings left not in a private collection. So, a rare opportunity to purchase one of these paintings produced in the house itself.
